Het streven naar kwaliteit vormde van meet af het sleutelwoord in de bedrijfsfilosofie van Ganda. Een consequente houding, die zich in de eerste plaats uit in de productie van een natuurlijk product, een milieuvriendelijk bereidingsproces en goede sociale verhoudingen binnen het bedrijf.<\/p>\n

Die ambachtelijke aanpak gaat gepaard met eigentijdse technologie. Ganda verleent voortdurend haar medewerking aan tal van wetenschappelijke onderzoeksprojecten (rond bv. zoutreductie in vleeswaren, gezondheid, vetzuursamenstelling, afvalverwerking, enz.) om de kwaliteit van de Ganda Ham te optimaliseren en het productieproces verder te doorgronden. Zo staat ook bij ons de tijd niet stil … we blijven continu verbeteren en vernieuwen.<\/p>\n

Reeds in 1992 ging Ganda gestructureerd werken aan integrale kwaliteitszorg. Een jaar later werd dit bekroond, toen Ganda als allereerste Belgische onderneming in de vleeswarensector het ISO 9002 certificaat behaalde. De garantie van een officieel erkend en doorgedreven kwaliteitssysteem. Ganda was reeds jaren terug vragende partij om de traceerbaarheid van elk ham tot bij de varkensboer te garanderen. Een praktijk, die ondertussen gemeengoed is geworden in de voedingssector. We behaalden dan ook de BRC Global Standard for Food Safety en de IFS Food Standard. Beide standaarden zijn bedoeld voor de leveranciers van private label producten aan de retailer en hebben voedselveiligheid en hygi\u00ebne in de voedselverwerkende sector als hoofddoelstelling.<\/p>\n

Autocontrole is het geheel van maatregelen die door Ganda worden genomen om ervoor te zorgen dat de producten in alle stadia van de productie, verwerking en distributie die onder hun beheer vallen voldoen aan de (wettelijke) voorschriften inzake voedselveiligheid, kwaliteit en traceerbaarheid. We maken gebruik van de \u201cautocontrolegids\u201d, een door het FAVV goedgekeurd document opgesteld door en voor de sector met aanwijzingen hoe men kan voldoen aan de wettelijk opgelegde vereisten voor hygi\u00ebne, traceerbaarheid en autocontrole.<\/p>\n

Minstens 1x\/jaar worden de grondstofleveranciers ook onderworpen aan een uitgebreide evaluatie volgens een aantal vaste criteria die omgezet worden in objectieve cijfers (o.a. stiptheid leveringen, kwaliteit, temperatuur, hygi\u00ebne, retours, correctheid van de documenten, prijs). Voorkomende klachten worden op gegrondheid onderzocht door het hoofd van de betrokken afdeling. Deze beslist in overleg met de andere betrokken verantwoordelijken of de klacht al dan niet wordt aanvaard en welke onmiddellijke acties moeten worden genomen. Acties en antwoord worden geregistreerd in een nonconformiteitsrapport. De klant wordt steeds op de hoogte gebracht. De finaliteit van de klachtenbehandeling is steeds ervoor te zorgen dat een vastgesteld probleem zich niet meer kan voordien.<\/p>\n

Naast onze eigen strenge kwaliteitseisen, zijn ongeveer 10 ton van onze producten ook bio gecertificeerd. De term \u2018biologisch\u2019 is wettelijk beschermd. Daardoor is er verplichte controle als je producten als \u2018bio\u2019 op de markt wilt brengen. En dit voor alle schakels in de markt: boer, verwerker, verdeler, verkoper. Ganda verwerkt en verkoopt biologische producten en is daarvoor erkend als bioverwerker.<\/p>\n

Ganda Ham bevat geen smaak- of kleurstoffen, geen nitraten en nitrieten, geen gluten en allergenen, geen bewaarmiddelen. Een puur product dus! Ganda Ham is licht verteerbaar en bevat minder dan 10% vet, dat bovendien voor het grootste (54%) deel uit onverzadigde vetzuren bestaat (cholesterol 85 mg\/100 g). Ganda ondersteunt daarnaast een gezonde, creatieve keuken met Ganda Ham, door de medewerking aan innoverende recepten van chefs. De onderneming werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling van vernieuwende recepten met Ganda Ham en sponsort culinaire wedstrijden.<\/p>\n
